Report of Hinstock Parish Council Annual General Meeting – May 5th 2009 Officers elected:-
- . Parish Council Accounts were agreed unanimously, and will now be audited. Allotments - The Parish Council has rented land at the Old Chester Road for use as allotments. An Allotments Association is being formed, and the Parish Council agreed to give a grant of £1,000.00 towards the cost of cutting back the hedges and clearing the ground. Traffic outside the School – Councillors have had reports of vehicles travelling much too fast outside the School. This has been reported to the Police but Councillors are still concerned about the safety of the children. The Parish Council cannot afford to pay a fulltime 'Lollipop Lady', but it was agreed to see if any Parishoners would be prepared to volunteer to help. Cycle Ramps – The Parish Council has been awarded a grant of £4,500.00 towards the cost of cycle ramps, so will be able to go ahead with this project. Car Sales Business at The Stables – is causing problems for neighbours and pedestrians who are unable to use the footpath, and it was agreed to report this problem to the Enforcement Officer. |
